I have an exynos galaxy s21 ultra and I don’t know why or how but in the last few months my phone has started seriously overheating, I mean the temperature gets so high it almost burns my hand and I can’t touch the phone anymore.

Whether I make a phone call, take a video, scroll social media while charging, anything will make it overheat. I’ve factory reset, restarted multiple times. Nothing worked. What’s going on??

Are any of you having overheating issues on the S21 lineup? I’m not sure what to do.

Fellow S21 Ultra user here, my phone also got warmer during charging. After battery replacement the issue was resolved.

I’m s22+ user from exynos region. If they move back to that overheating pile of garbage chipset, I will just get iphone aswell. This is literally the worst phone I ever had.

What variant is it? If it is exynos, then the chip has manufacturing default because exynos is known for its bad performance and overheating, I’ve got the snapdragon variant, no overheating issues so far…

The first sentence of the post says which SoC it is.

Also fuck Samsung for giving the rest of the world aside from NA inferior garbage chips.

As you have already reset it, it can’t be the storage.

Get a new phone ASAP! If it really overheats as much as you say the battery might explode and cause much harm to you. Please get a new one…
