so my experience so far has been that i need to manual drop the refresh rate to either 60 or 59 to get flat frametime graphs in a *ton* of games. the 90 default just works really poorly in a ton of games that are hardlocked to 60. i was told this device was supposed to somehow know whats up and adjust accordingly, but its not at all what i’ve found

As much as I like VALVe, I don’t believe in “smart” devices that know better what refresh rate to use. I checked every installed game myself, setting 90 or 60, depending on perceived performance and image quality. It only takes a few seconds anyways.
