My girlfriend wants to give her mom a Steamdeck for xmas, but her mom is not very tech savvy. Is it possible for them to share an account so her mom doesn’t have to make her own account?

I’ve read conflicting info about sharing games or having to play in offline mode if they are both logged in at the same time. Anyone have the answer?
