• money is not an issue
  • never will use it for gaming, just excel and opening 200+ tabs on chrome.
  • worried if I get the i9, the arctic freezer II 360 aio, plus four additional 140mm fans won’t be able to cool the 14900. I want idle speeds to be under 40c and never go above 60c when using it.
  • I understand that I don’t even need an i7 or i9, I do it because I wanna have to PC for the next ten years and have no problems and because I can. “Futureproofing for these basic functions”
  • will I notice any differences between the 14900 and 14700 when opening chrome? Will have 64gb of ram.

To be honest you might consider stepping up to a xeon workstation kit , 2x40 cores , 2TB ram. Then buy a new AC unit to cool it. Connect the AC directly to three phase power and locate your building in the snow for best passive cooling.
