In screen finger print, built in magic pencil, even smaller notch, super fast charging

Pretty much everything the s23 does already.

Nah. Under display camera and face id is the right way, notch is a bad design choice to aim for.

I disagree. The under-screen fingerprint sensor and built in pen would take up a bunch of internal room that most people would rather use for battery. Fingerprint sensors are generally worse than FaceID anyhow.

Smaller cutout and fast charging are def true though.

My 15 pro max is my 4th iPhone with faceID, and I still miss a fingerprint sensor very very often. FaceID is fantastic for the moments where it works, but there are enough moments where it just does not cut it.

The problem is that one of those moments where it simply doesn’t work for me is straight up dangerous: having to unlock to enable carplay, while I’m in my car behind the wheel. Just picking up my phone in that situation is illegal where I live, but no, I need to hold it in front of my face before it wants to unlock.

That’s probably the worst situation, but just having my phone on my desk, wanting to glance quickly at new notifications never works. Sometimes, on the lock-screen it doesn’t unlock to view the notifications unless I swipe up. And if I by accident swipe up from a bit too low down on the screen, it unlocks completely instead of showing me my notification previews.

“Show previews always” can be set up

What about when your finger is wet or you’re wearing hand gloves? You can either unlock your phone without looking, or without touching, no phone focuses on both options

I am very aware of that, and that’s something I specifically do not want unless I unlock my phone.

What about when your finger is wet or you’re wearing hand gloves?

Touch screens with gloves is a pain anyway, even with those “touch ready”-ones. And how many times do you wear gloves? I get annoyed by faceID almost daily, I don’t wear gloves daily. Is touch-id perfect? Absolutely not, but did I prefer the user experience? Without a doubt.

That said, I like the screen real-estate we gained, but as android phones have shown, in-screen fingerprint sensors are possible. I don’t know how secure they are though, and with the One+7T I have here, not having tactile indication of where it is, takes some getting used to.

How would you know lol. The physical home button touch ID isn’t the same as an in display finger print scanner.

Oh man, this phone is out of my budget. Otherwise it seems like a perfect phone.
