this was when the mods should have stepped up and culled the hate speech. instead they kowtowed to the asshole minority and closed the topic. it’s shameful, and handed power to a couple bigots when the community was responding appropriately.

i don’t actually think the mods for this sub are bad, but they fucked up. that was the wrong reaction and can do better in the future.
