Steam Deck is officially unavailable in my region and rather than paying extra to my local importer retailers or changing the region to US on my main account, I was thinking what if I create a new account using VPN and then fill the wallet balance with gift cards. Can I purchase Steam Deck like that? Or will I not be able to purchase it because of the new account? I’m planning this ahead of the time, I think there will be some sales during christmas and I really want to buy one by then.
Some retail stores do resell to unsupported countries, check places like best buy or other similar stores. Otherwise i want to sell my old LCD 256 GB Model when the OLED Arrives, if you are interested i can sell it to you.
