I received my Steam Deck OLED, but I’m experiencing a black screen with the fan running. I can’t access the BIOS, and holding down the power button does nothing.

Should I proceed with a return?

    yes, replace it. probably a defective panel or the ribbon cable it’s connected to got disconnected in shipping or was just plain never installed correctly.
