The long dark is great if you like atmospheric survival game.

Didn’t quite like the story mode, it was a fetch quest with a pretty decent story but it didn’t clic, even find it a bit spoilery, i prefer discovering the maps in survival.

It run pretty decent on the deck (don’t use the native build, run it through proton exp). I limit the FPS to 30 for battery saving, but 40 fps is nice too. It struggle sometimes at 60 which isn’t very acceptable considering the graphics but, i love this game so much.

Also dark scene at night on the OLED is stunning.

It can become pretty easy once you “get it”, wolf aren’t an issue once you know how to deal with them, just an annoyance, but then you take on the looper difficulty where every second is a struggle to survive the cold (there’s even an achievement for surviving on day on looper). It’s almost a different game. Great title really.

The forest. Go right now and buy it while it’s $5. You can thank me later.
