I was using my watch while swimming and I don’t know how but water seeped in and now my watch is dead. The service center guy told me there is nothing much he can do. How is that possible when the advertisement itself shows that watch can be used for swimming??? Can I file a consumer complaint?

It depends. It’s not rated for salt water (you didn’t specify where you were swimming) and how many times it’s been immersed.
If you’ve had it for awhile, the seals can become worn, depending on how you use it.
