Hello,

I liked to mod my PC case and jsut fiddling with electronics and I never had the big hcance to work on my laptop. Its an ideapad flex 5 (14ALC05)which i got for university but its very loud in its current state. The fan is almost going 100% even when i just start up a Chromium application.

I recently watched a console mod, where they exchanged the backplate from a plastic one to a metal one. Obviously, the whole backplate can heat up more from that, but it would also significantly improve cooling capabilites.

I do have experience in CAD-software.

Would this be something doable?
