Hey guys, my Samsung microwave seemed to stop working regarding the heating elements. Everything else seems okay such as the lights, etc. Does anyone have an idea of what I can try to do? Thank you.
Lights would be on a different part of the circuit from the high voltage magnetron (microwave emmitter) and the transformer which makes the high voltage. Since light comes on it’s probably not a fuse/breaker.
Trying to work on high voltage electronics can be LIFE THREATENING should you make a mistake. If you think it has heating elements, you should not risk this. Unless this is some exotic special microwave it will be cheaper to replace than to repair. A 1.0 cubic foot unit is about $75 at WalMart. Much cheaper than a funeral and burial.
When did you buy it? My Samsung microwave is 6 years old and working normally
