Hello. I currently have a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G but I have a promotion where I can get $500 off on a Samsung Galaxy S23+.

Only thing is when comparing the specs it feels like a downgrade? The battery is less and so is the camera, even the ram! Should I just stick with my phone or would I notice an improvement on the new one? Thanks!

Edit: Or the Ultra version of 23

I was forced to “upgrade” when the cpu in my Note 8 quit. The only thing I like better is the camera. There are times I have full strength 5g & it won’t load anything. Plus, I’ve been dealing with customer service for another issue for almost a week & they’re about as useless as 5g

I have the same phone. There’s no reason to upgrade yet. Phones have a hit a wall where the performance gains aren’t really noticeable in light day to day apps/use cases.

Unless there’s something actually wrong with the device you should use it as long as possible or until security updates seize.

I couldn’t take my Launch day Pixel 6 Pro any fuckin more and finally upgraded to the S23 Ultra and dude…what an incredible phone.

    Everything is better…

My girlfriend had the S21 Ultra since 3 months agter launchand she loves it. Not a single problem. But not worth upgrading to the 23! Keep it!

It’s completely pointless. Your phone will have essentially the same practical performance even compared to the flagships superceeding it, except for camera or efficiency. It’s all just the same, because the software is the deal breaker here. In my opinion even switching from the S10 to the S23 is a waste of money unless you have a decent reason.

I’d say don’t right now. At the least if you want to upgrade wait 2 more months for the S24 models.

Wait for the s24. You’ve waited this long, might as well wait a little longer and get the newest version when it comes out.

Well the s24 series it’s just around the corner but the trade deals for the s23 weren’t any good. I was waiting also for the s24 but decided to pull the trigger since I manage to get a good deal for the s23 ultra

So if you already know all of the answers about the difference between the phones and actually the s23 is better than why ask the question? Especially to randos on the internet that give all kinds of crazy answers
