Just curious as to if anyone has more than 1 SD and what do you use the other(s) for?

Yes, when I was new and knew nothing about Linux, I had one for experiments and one that was pure.

Yes! Assuming the soon-to-be-delivered OLED doesn’t have any dead pixels 🤞🏻, my LCD is gonna become an involuntary test subject. I really should rename it “Chell”. DeckHD and 32GB RAM are also on the way!

I have two. A 512gb LCD and the 1tb oled.

My wife is getting the LCD on the condition she plays some games with me. I couldn’t help myself and had to have the oled. It’s great.

This is what I did, since my computers are Macs. Cheaper than selling it for ~$200.

Since I’d never been in the Steam ecosystem prior to my first Deck, I had one deck that was “pure”, and a second that was experimental. That way I could learn Linux, install things like cryo tools, chiaki, and other launchers without messing up my pure deck. Also, part of the process of experimentation is having a neutral sample to compare the experiments to. The experimental deck became my Diablo 4 and WoW machine until D4 released natively.

Instead of sitting inside to play my Steam Deck 100% of the time, I’ll sit on the porch outside to play. I have big dogs (130 pounds), so they’ll get it dirty and scratchy when bringing toys back to be thrown. So now I have an OG deck that I am less worried about scratching, another for experiments and booting windows since my computers are all Macs, and the third, my main gaming system, is a SE OLED…

Have one lcd from near launch and now the oled from my recent visit to Japan. Currently contemplating whether I sell the lcd or keep it. But I wouldn’t be using both it’s exclusively the OLED one now

Isn’t owning multiple Steam Decks something we’re supposed to do? This is expected.

I have a 512GB version. The cost for that one was split between me and my brother and we both have our accounts on it. That was soon after the release and took 6 months to arrive. 2 months ago I bought a 256GB version that only I paid for so I can bring it to the dorms since I’m a college student now.

I had two for about a week. Sold my lcd to my nephew though and he is super excited about it.
