I am looking into buying an OLED SD to upgrade and gift my LCD to my daughter.

I have put a fair amount of time setting the deck up and kind of don’t want to go through the process again.

Would it be ok just to give her the deck as is (after I copy the contents of the SSD to my new deck) and just log out of my Steam profile there, and make a new ID for her so she can use the deck right off the bat? I assume games that are tied to my profile will not be there (ie. I have to redownload them again, or they will be unusable–one or the other)

Just want to ask, is this the correct way to go about it?

Thanks for any feedback.

Leave your account on there and setup family sharing they’ll be able to play your games while either you’re offline or at the same time as you if they disconnect from the internet
