I find that pretty hard to believe. Surely at the very least you could just buy one direct from china.

You need to replace the main parts almost as often as with a disposable vape. The only really different thing is that the battery is rechargeable.

My squonk I bought in 2015 would disagree with you. Batteries, juice and a squonk bottle is all I’ve purchased since the initial purchase.

Pod style vapes beg to differ. You can buy Pod style Vapes that have coils pre installed in the pods meaning all you need to do is fill the pod and bin it when the coil is finished.

Not great for plastic waste but it’s a million times better than people binning batteries constantly.

Beg to differ what? The pod is pretty much the whole vape and combined with a reusable vape costs often even more than a disposable vape.

Look, I’m not arguing that vaping is bad for the environment or even that disposable vapes are better or worse than reusable. Just providing context why some people go for a disposable rather than reusable.

In addition to what I already mentioned, the quality of e liquids is different in what you get in disposable vapes and refillable - you will never get the same strong taste in a refillable vape due to a number of factors. That in addition to the high cost and low quality of replacement parts is why many people don’t go for reusable vapes.

I literally had two reusable vapes and switches back to disposable ones.

So you’re reusing and preventing the worst component from being sent to the landfill… Ya hardly any benefit in that /s
