I know, there’s a lot of them already, but I had to gush.

I sold my LCD as soon as the OLED was announced, as the battery and screen were my two biggest issues with the deck.

I was a bit concerned I’d feel some buyers remorse, as I don’t need to upgrade, and the screen might disappoint (even though I have an LG OLED and love it).

It’s not an upgrade anyone needs, but for me, it’s 100% worth it. Huge battery gains, and the screen is absolutely jaw dropping. I can’t get over how fantastic it is, and I haven’t even tried HDR games yet. 90hz feels fantastic.

Everything from top to bottom feels tightened up and improved on the new OLED deck, with a few big standouts like the screen, battery, and wifi, and they all add up to something that feels like exactly the perfect version of the Deck 1.0.

Truly a fantastic upgrade. I’ll never get over this screen.

    It truly is fantastic.

    Not everyone cares for OLED or understands why it’s so appealing for some of us, but it truly is a delight. It’s great to the point that i won’t be getting a Steam Deck 2 if it doesn’t come with an OLED screen out of the gate.
