I have the A52s and upgraded my work phone to A54. A54 is giving me 4.5 to 5 hours SOT. Only social media and web browsing. Doesn’t even show the underlying cause.
The only reason I upgraded was it was from my workplace and the A52s had many scratches on the screen.
The screen is not as smooth (apps lag). Scroll is not as smooth. I hate the phone to my guts
FML.
How is battery health of a52s ? Mine is almost 2 years old and now it gives only 5 hours sot and looses power when idle. It was not always the case and my battery health is at 85%. You can check it using adb or samsung members
The a52s had an efficient snapdragon and the a54 has a Samsung chip, that’s probably why
Impossible r/samsung users tell that its one of the best devices available on the planet without any issues at all.

A52s has the worse haptics and battery is pretty average too, even then it would do 5-6h of SOT
A54 has none of these issues and I’m getting around 8h SOT with all day standby with intermittent hotspot usage. The best i could get was close to 11h straight out of the box.
You may need to optimize your phone first, Check out Jimmy is Promo youtube channel there are around 20-25 OneUI settings that drain the battery - you have to disable most (if not all) of these to get the best out of your phone.
A34 is smoother than A54. That Exynos 1380 is a dumpster fire
Because A54 has Exynos chip, and A52s has a decent Snapdragon TSMC chip.
I’d say A34 is better than A54.
The A52S is the best midrange phone Samsung has ever launched, even after two years they haven’t been able to make a better one.
