would you swap the 512 GB with the 1 TB SSD of my old lcd one? Is it worth it, will this be noticeable when selling whether I sell the Steamdeck as a 512gb, 1tb, or even the original 64 GB?

I did that exact thing. Pulled my old 1TB that I had upgraded my 64gbLCD with and put it in the OLED. Couldn’t think of a reason not to put the OLED 512 in the old LCD. I’ve still got that 64gb sitting around and that what I’ll be putting in the OLED if I have to RMA it ever.

Not necessarily, but a lot of times when they RMA they will just send you a new deck. Or at least they were doing that in the early days of the LCD. Quite a few folks lost their upgraded SSDs at that time.

You’re suppose to rma it with original hardware. Best to keep your original drives, just in case.

Just make sure both decks are up to date and make the swap. Might as well keep the 1Tb unless you were planning to upgrade to 2tb soon
