I have a desktop PC in addition to my Steam Deck. Want to know if there’s an accessory I can plug into my PC to get the Steam Deck to display on the PC’s external monitors and be able to use mouse & keyboard without having to manually plug and unplug all those USB connections into an adapter.

Many of the Dell monitors have direct USB-C support which works perfectly.

It’s amazing, I can swap from my laptop to the Steam Deck with one cable.

I personally do this with software. If you want to do this in Desktop Mode, you can do this with something like AnyDesk… in Gaming Mode, I would download the Steam Link app and connect to your Steam Deck that way.

I have a small USB switch box, I press a button on it and the mouse and keyboard switch over to the deck.

I also have a Bluetooth keyboard that lets me quickly switch between devices.

I have the deck hooked to a TV so I don’t need to switch the monitor.

there are software solutions as well that let you share keyboard/mouse.
