Right now, if you set a game like Persona 5 Strikers to 60hz as a per-game profile, if you are playing and then want to open controller settings (or anything that opens via the left-side menu) you get a black screen as the device switches refresh rates.

I think Valve should adjust this so that when the game is running in the background the menus are set to the same refresh rate as the game (so essentially the “per-game” profile becomes a global trigger). 60fps is a very common limit in games (unfortunately) and now that the OLED deck is at 90hz, this would allow a smoother experience in game and menus without having to experience black screens or uneven frame pacing from running a 60fps game on a 90hz screen.
