Total noob to game streaming and recently got a deck. Having a bit of confusion on how to open games to stream, though. I’m currently entering moonlight, selecting steam big picture, then it’s mirroring/streaming my steam library where I have to select the game on my desktop.
Is there anyway to select a game using the steam deck while in moonlight? Or will I always have to select the game at my actual desktop to then have it show up on steam deck?
I’m going to get downvoted to hell, but I’m totally unimpressed with Sunshine/Moonlight. Steam Remote Play is far better in my opinion, so try that first. Only go looking for alternatives if it doesn’t work well for you for some reason. It’s also zero effort. Just install the game on your PC, and the default Play/Install button on your Steam Deck for the game will change to a drop down where you can choose to stream it instead. Just tap and go.
