I’m curious - why do you pick Samsung compared to other smartphone brands? (Google Pixel, iPhone, OnePlus, etc.)

    I was lured to Samsung by DeX mode. I use it on my S23U and it meets my needs 99%. Ultra portable, remotes into my home server running docker and meets the remaining 1%. I’ve been using iPhone for the last 10 years and to my surprise I can use 90% of the Apple ecosystem on the S23U. Gave my MacBook pro to my employees to use. Thrilled Samsung made such a capable device. I use the Google ecosystem for productivity, all works great so far. If a future version of DeX and Samsung phone could provide multi-external-monitor support I’d upgrade in a heartbeat. Meets my needs.

      I’m hoping at some point that I make this switch too when I’m eventually working self employed and not forced into using work laptops with custom software on it. The idea of using DeX on an S9 Ultra for coding and productivity seems so much better than relying on a MacBook.
