I’m dying to play with this small tv i got years ago. I remember i used to play a lot ps3 in 2013 on it, but after ps4 in 2016 it just stopped working hdmi with playstation systems. It works hdmi with any other system like xbox 360, xbox one, notebooks, videocards (PC mode). It just doesn’t work with ps3, and it doesn’t work with amazon fire stick as well (it boots fire stick logo and then goes black screen). Ps: ps3 works normally with other televisions on hdmi. It isn’t the same ps3 from years ago.

Things i have tried:

  • change cables

  • changing ps3 resolution (1080p, or 1080i, 720p, 480p…)

  • pressing ps button till i hear a bip so that ps system detect the correct resolution

    Does it black screen with both PS3 and PS4?

    Have you tried plugging them into a different HDMI port?

    My first thought is HDCP doing weird stuff but if it was working before, I dunno.
