I’ve just realized that my SSD clone is prior to 3.5 SteamOS, so I am unable to boot into it using the old SteamDeck. Unfortunately, I sold my old Deck. I can read some data of the SSD using the enclosure, is there a way for me to extract my saves from the SSD?

    You might be able to create a 3.5.7 recovery image and select the Reinstall option to hopefully retain all of your games and such, otherwise you will need to Reimage it and start from scratch

      I was able to find them after connecting them via my enclosure. Apparently, you can browse the home dir. Then run find | grep -i save. Then with some Linux machinations, I was able to find what I needed. Now emudeck confs…
