I just bought an Hp envy two in one from Best Buy because of the deals and I was wondering if anyone had an opinions on it. I don’t have a lot of computer knowledge so any advice would be appreciated.

I don’t need amazing graphics because I don’t do anything with art or graphic design. It would mostly be used for things like word and spreadsheets. As far as games I don’t really play any games, so the most it needs to be able to run is the occasional Minecraft or other simple game. Although I am upset that I can’t fully rotate the screen to become like an iPad, I don’t think it is a deal breaker.

Anyone have any advice on if this is a good computer for me? I got it for about $750. I can always still return it and get a different one if needed. Thanks!

I saw this review when I was shopping around. It looked pretty solid. Some think the HP hinges are a little weak, but I think likely some people are rough on things.

I have really liked the Lenovo laptops. I have liked several Lenovo Ideapads. I know that the Yoga 7i is a good 2 in 1, but I don’t know if it is actually better. I think both are likely good.

Here is the review of the older HP Envy. I saw the new one when ordering a refrigerator a month ago. It looked good to me.

I bought an Envy x360 in 2017. I gave it up in 2020 only because its fixed 12G memory was insufficient as pandemic WFH got underway, with the vastly higher workload I was imposing on it because it became my main conduit to and for work, so it was retired and replaced with something beefier. I gave it to a family member who is still using it, as far as I know.

    They’re fine machines.
