I have never installed Decky and CryoUtilities on my LCD Deck but now I feel I should. Are these two compatible with the OLED Decks yet? Unsure if there were changes to the Deck that prevents either of these from working.
And with that, are these two recommended to install on a Deck? I’ve never tinkered with my Deck before so unsure what’s recommended to do.
Been using Decky on my Oled, but I really don’t see much need for me to bother with the Cyro tools.
Decky has numerous ‘must have’ tools that I use quite often.
Cyro - not so much.
TD;DR: If you have a known, specific use case for these products? Use them.
If you don’t? I do not consider them a worthy “just install’em on every new Deck” or “every factory reset”.
Everything you do to your Deck that is not “vanilla” is questionable when things go wrong. When you come asking for help, we don’t know what things you have done to your Deck and you may forget to tell us.
