I just got my OLED Deck, and one of my first orders of business is to get ER running its best. There are a ton of guides out there that typically recommend some mix of settings combined with a 30 fps cap on the original Deck….

But with the way the OLED Deck handles refresh rates and all that, I’m wondering if anyone has tinkered enough yet to find settings that feel even better?

For instance, to my eye there’s a pretty good difference between even 30 and 40 fps. Has anyone found settings that eke out the best visuals at a consistent 40 (with the OLED refreshing, therefore, at 80)?

The smoothness gains when it’s locked there are real, but riding that line so you don’t mess with the frame timings would seem to be the trick… 🤔
