In the past Windows Desktop had sa performance problems in system with more than 64 core. Nice would be also test system with only 64 threads to really see how big problem are Windows processor groups https://www.anandtech.com/show/15483/amd-threadripper-3990x-review/3. You also have done similar tests in the past https://www.phoronix.com/review/3990x-windows-linux/6
