Press Shift+F10 to open the Command Prompt and type “oobe\bypassnro”, hit enter, and reboot into the out of box experience without needing to set up with a network and to be able to create a local account on Windows 11. Works like a charm.

This is the reason, I refuse to update to the newest version of the OS. I will stick with Windows 10, thank you. I personally have windows 10 installed onto an external m.2 drive. I only ever boot it up when I need it, otherwise I use a windows 10 VM for everything. I daily drive Ubuntu.

Yea, that is what happens now. There are methods illustrated in youtube, on how to bypass this petty bullshit. It’s currently a cat and mouse game with this kind of stuff. I’d suggest jumping ship off of windows and go linux, you can always VM into windows.

To those who need a quick Workaround and if you have an Android device. Plug your phone into your laptop using a USB C to USB C cable. Turn on USB tethering on your phone and it should be able to provide short term internet access to get around this.
