Not counting the added features, font and emoji changes since those are all subjective.

Since it was made available to me (T-Mobile S22 128GB) I’ve WAY less frame drops and the animations themselves seem smoother.

I haven’t had it long enough to notice a difference in battery performance but it’s something I plan to pay close attention to considering the terrible battery life the base S22 has had previously.

Before I got my One UI 6 update, you would think all the comments from others that did update that the phone was in a coma or something.

Honestly, I think the One UI 6 hate train is a bit excessive. It neither made my phone worse or significantly better. Which I don’t think is a bad thing. Main concern was if this update would ruin my already pleasant battery experience and after a week or so, it seems about the same.

Now… Yeah, those emojis. Okay if there had to be one slipup, I guess I’d rather that take the L than other core phone features. 🤷‍♂️

New updates Don’t make phone battery worse as far as i have noticed after a new update phone battery drains slightly faster, but after a week it goes away when the system and hardwares adapt to the new version better. People need to be patience, phone needs some time to adjust to a new version.
