Basically title. I keep trying to play Elden Ring on the SD and cap it to 30fps as it can’t maintain a stable 40. The input lag is incredibly noticeable though and makes the game feel unplayable. I tried streaming from my desktop, still capped at 30 fps and have had zero issues, except obviously I can’t play offline, which is the whole reason I bought a Steam Deck.
What’s the deal with this input delay? How is it possible that streaming a game results in a lower input latency than running natively?

don’t use in game vsync
Elden Ring has no option for VSYNC. It’s built into the engine always on.
