I’m just thinking how cool it would be to play everything on Game Pass via cloud on my Switch/Whatever The Next Gen Nintendo Console Is.
They could get rid of xbox and just focus on PC then.
I honestly think that’s what they’re going to do lol. Also freaking xcloud delivering xgp on TVs even now. That’s where they are heading.

This is for them to sell all the studio game developers they been buying recently to Sony Nintendo users and pay an extra subscription to Microsoft to play those games. Example. Diablo and call of duty

I use game pass and xcloud every day on my Steam Deck? MS even provides a guide on their own support website.
That would necessitate a consistent high down and up speeds. I still get tearing, resolution issues, and input lag and im regularly pulling in excess of 300mbps wired.
Yeah they are not even trying for native games on there. I guess they don’t like my money 🤷🏼♂️

the long term benefit I can see is probably getting gamepass on their rival’s systems. That’s a huge win isn’t it? I mean it’s already on some TVs. More gamepass avenues = more customers?
While I would like Xbox to really implement this, I hope they don’t abandon making new generations of Xbox consoles. Sony needs to have competitors to prevent them from being overly stupid with their decisions.

People in this thread are forgetting PlayStation + extra and premium exist already. Sure there are exclusives that Xbox have on their subscription, but I don’t think it’ll be worth it
