Howdy all, here is the obligatory post asking if there are any performance improvements for Baldur’s Gate 3 on Steam Deck after today’s Patch #5. Anyone notice anything?
Been delaying buying the game in hopes that some optimizations might come along… Thanks in advance!!
This is going to make some people upset but imho this game shouldn’t be verified, performance towards the end of act 2 and then act 3 is very poor and textures take too long to load on characters’ faces during conversations throughout the whole game (including some areas in act 1), it’s impossible not to notice even when you’re fine locking the game at 20 fps. Do yourself a favor and wait until you can experience this the way it was intended, the developers have been working hard on improving the game since launch and I’m sure it will be even better once you’re ready to play it.
