As the title says, Ive had my S6 lite since release and it might just be my perception since I use an S22 Ultra and a relatively high end zenbook, but I think my S6 lite is getting sluggish.

Launching apps, loading times, etc. Basically minor things but have been grinding my gears for quite a while now. Ive tried resetting it clean, not downloading anything aside ONLY what I need for school (microsoft apps, facebook, messenger and basically the apps you expect anyone will have) to no avail. Just found out about the new S9 series especiallys the FEs today through an ad.

I only use it for media consumption and note taking as well as an easy use quick share hardrive for my S22U so processing power that considers gaming isnt a big selling point for me unless its the reason why I think my tab is sluggish. The IP rating is a good bonus though. However, Ive seen more posts talking sht about the FEs than positives. Is getting refurbished S8 versions really better? There are no official resellers of tab S8s, also, samsung only sells the S8 Ultra now (out of budget) and I dont trust the refurbished resellers here (Philippines) as batteries are rarely replaced new and not kept in ideal environment that can guarantee the quality of the tab S8s especially after more than a year since its release even if theyre brand new and sealed. I dont want to spend on something I wont be able to use for at least 3-4 years

The S9 FE go for 27k (roughly 490 USD) and the S9 FE+ for 31k (roughly 560 USD). A trade in for my S6 lite only values it at 5.8k around 100 USD, I could maybe sell it and get a bit more.

Anyway, is it worth it to upgrade?

guys when you are talking about a tablet, please use the “Tab” word before the model, it’s literally 4 extra clicks and you save A LOT of confusion
