I ended up not disconnecting my battery at all and just praying to RNGesus that I didn’t fry my jawns.

Booted up and we’re going great, but the plate with the ribbon cable is really annoying to work with. And the battery cable itself has something that’s seemingly a pull-tab on it, but it feels super fragile and like fabric tape rather than a pull ribbon.

Has anyone figured out an “intended” way to do this?
