Hello.

I have a 13900KS paired with 7800Mhz GSkill RAM, an Asus Z790 Apex motherboard and an RTX 4090 Strix.

Recently I notice my PC become more unstable with games and programs randomly crashing. Last night the computer won’t get passed the Windows login screen without Blue/Black screen crash and restarting.

My first part to blame is the CPU as the symptoms are pretty much identical to my friend’s computer a few years ago that had a faulty 9700K.

The RAM seems not to blame as it passes the tests and the computer still crashes even on stock and no XMP. The GPU also works properly.

The crash reasons on the BSOD’s are different every single time. The Windows install is also not at fault as a brand new install and even a different SSD did not solve any of the issues.

What is most likely here? If it is indeed the CPU I will be getting the 14900K to replace in the hopes of getting a better chip as the 13900KS I got was a low quality and lottery losing anyways.
