Well you will be damaging your memory chip. Each memory chip has a lifespan, and that lifespan is affected by how many bytes it is writing on it. This means each byte that is changed (deleting or adding files) will mean that it is getting closer to the end of it’s lifespan. HOWEVER, the chances of it breaking first compared to something else in the phone is, in my opinion, very low.
