This has probably been said before, but I find Apple TV+ unusably bad. The lack of multiple profiles is a big issue if multiple family members want to view the same show at different times. The website seems to try to make it intentionally difficult to browse and look for shows. The MacOS App is also extremely error prone for me (I have a current-gen Macbook). Honestly it’s gotten to the point where I end up pirating shows that I could watch with my AppleTV+ subscription because its just a lot easier and more reliable to do that and then watch on my TV with a Chromecast. I assume this is all a design choice to push people to buy the Apple TV device, but I think it’s a poor choice, and I’m more likely to just cancel my subscription, which is a shame because some of my favourite shows are made by Apple TV.

    You get multiple profiles on an Apple TV, each profile can watch what they want at different times independently of when the other profiles are watching.

      Maybe on the Apple TV device you can, but not on the Apple tv+ site. Even though literally other streaming service allows you to do this. But this kind of just proves my point about them trying to force you to buy and use their device.

        Is this your first Apple device? Since the very first iPhone Apple tends to not acknowledge there are others on the market as well. This is a deliberat strategy. You can like or dislike this, but you really shouldn’t act surprised after like 17 years.

        On ATV for Music, TV+ you can switch account by switching account on the ATV. Which is basically no more trouble then doing so in the app. Literally two button pushes.

        Apple does thisngs in the Apple way.

          I don’t have an apple tv device, just the apple tv+ streaming service. This post is about apple TV+. And yes, just because it’s a well documented shitty practice, doesnt make it less of a shitty practice.

            How should anybody know that you don’t have an Apple TV in the r/appletv sub? I honestly don’t know how does the TV+ work on other devices, as I have only used it on the ATV.
