    Ah, so it’s bullshit then.

    Faccio, whose team has established a start-up company, LightHearted AI, which is now seeking venture capital to expand development of their devices.

    The whole selling point on this is a mix of biometric identification and heartbeat reading. Why would you set up a laser in your house rather than just having a heartbeat monitor on your wrist? There are many other better ways for biometric identification, like Face and Eye scanning as well.

    It’s just another Solution in search of a Problem.

    Stethoscopes are used for alot, lung sounds, heart sounds, Gastrointestinal sounds, blood pressure. Reading a heart rate through the throat is neat, but would not replace a Stethoscope… still need an EKG for a proper heart rhythm
