I have an S23+ and a P8P. They are both great phones but if I could only keep one it would be the Pixel. I use the camera a lot and the Pixel wins that battle. If the Galaxy phones could match the Pixel’s camera capabilities they would probably kick the Pixel butts. I’m in the US, not a big difference in price or availability. The Samsungs use the SD processor which is a huge bonus. A Pixel with this processor would be huge. Dream on…

Samsung, better battery life and almost 100% of the features are unusable. Pixel sadly just doesn’t make sense based on value in my country. We don’t get any of the advanced software features here and the device costs more than in the US

I’ve tried the Pixel 3 before but most of the features are only available for certain regions, and the features available to me are things I barely use. It’s also more or less the same price since I need to import the phone. I got used to Samsung now and I prefer it more than the Pixel since I use more Samsung features than Pixel features. Honestly it’s just personal preference.

I like the Pixel better but the Samsung is the better one.

I always liked Google products and services so it’s natural for me to like the Pixel better, also the UI I really like same for the photos.

But Samsung is better in almost every way, better hardware, better value, more features and more availability and popularity.

It’s a matter of preference, mostly.

Used to have an S21U. Used a Pixel 6 Pro after. The only thing I like better on the pixel basically is capture speed in the camera. Everything else (software, performance, hardware) is better on the Samsung.

Pixel is only good software wise… it’s like google just doesn’t understand how to make a phone with good hardware

Look at Samsung phones … they have some serious raw horsepower from the hardware and great software… pixel just doesn’t have good hardware generally…

I know a lot of pixel fans will disagree with me on this but it’s true… battery life is terrible and the phone is prone to overheating

And in my country the customer support for pixel is shit… so yeah that isn’t helping either

My Samsung phones can get a broken phone screen fixed within 4 hours in my country, and Samsung even provides a replacement phone in the mean time. Pixel takes a couple of weeks with no replacement phones provided.

Nvm that with Pixels phones you can’t turn off any of tracking because it’s built into all parts of the phone. Or the battery is just piss poor. Or the screen is just lousy. Or that you will get blinded by the fingerprint sensor if you try to unlock the phone in the night because it’ll light up being optical.

Not a good idea to ask stuff like that in the samsung subreddit. Hehe.

I can tell you that i prefer pixel. Give me a pixel with s pen and it would be perfect.
