Hey! So I have about 6 more years of college ahead of me which means at least 6 more years of taxing work for my laptop to do. I have had my current laptop for 5 years now, and it has held up pretty great so far. I am just considering upgrading on account that it can’t really run any games at all, and I don’t really want an aging computer as I move to grad school in 2 years. I am including my current specs of my laptop, and want to know if I am actually valid in wanting something newer or if I’m just blinded by the shinier and newer stuff on the market.
Let it die first, let’s stop it with this mentality that things should be replaced every so often when in reality they can last for so much longer than expected.
