That hugely depends on your region. I find it pretty good here in the UK. Also, there’s a report feature where you can report the current weather conditions to improve their prediction model.
I gave up after two years of reporting it. It would say there’s not a cloud in the sky when it’s raining. Not to mention there are plenty of Apple employees where I live, so undoubtedly they are aware of how lousy it is.
I’ve been using Carrot too, mostly because of the snarky comments and the ability to pick your weather source. I’ve pretty much just accepted at this point that every weather app is going to be extremely wrong at some point lol
You might find the Apple weather app is often incorrect. Plenty of other options. Personally I’ve been using carrot weather.
