Has anyone else experienced this: suddenly and only for a little while, the pencil stroke becomes very thick, as in this photo?

This has been happening to me sporadically for as long as I can remember. I ended up contacting support, and they decided to replace the unit. The same thing is still happening on the replacement unit. Maybe I’m “holding it wrong”…?

FWIW I can’t figure out what, if anything, I’m doing differently when the stroke gets super thick like this. One thing I’ve noticed is that if it happens towards the bottom of the screen, once I move my content up to create more blank space in the lower portion of the screen, the lines get thick in a similar place. I’m unable to reproduce this consistently, though. It’s not that certain portions of the screen make the lines get thick.

Mine does it, though not that intense, in the third last line. I learned to scroll up prior.

Did you try different pens? That intensity really looks like a pressure thing.

I have tried replacing the tip in the pen, but I have not tried replacing the pen yet. Is there a good alternative pen you’d recommend?

        Staedtler jumbo norris.

Though I had it with the rM pen as well as with the Staedtler.

I was talking about the digital pen, the setting. I’m using the ballpen which isn’t sensitiv to pressure, therefore the lines are more steady.
