intel APO only for win11?

I dont understand if the new intel APO is only for win11 or not? they say they have a windows app to disable it working for win11 but that users otherwise dont need to do anything and no drivers are needed, only DTT enabled in bios.

did i get this right? I am using Windows 10 with my 14700k, will i benefit from APO?
