I don’t know much about it all but I’ve gone from a s9 to a new s22 and i just hate the way the screen looks. What has happened? Why does it look so poor? The photos look flat and dull and almost blurred. I dont like looking at it. So i tried everything but put the sim card back in my s9 for the night. Really bummed.

Jokes aside, I’ve seen other people complaining about the same thing. There in XDA forum or Samsung Members. Samsung is calibrating the screens differently. Forget how it was before with that oversaturated look, they’re trying to make it more balanced. Because while some people love very vivid tones, others hate it. And you can’t adjust it in the settings, it’s getting more and more “dry” in screen options.

May you add a photo? I don’t really get the problem. If you can add both s9 and s23 to see the difference. But imo it’s a fabric problem or a fake phone. Or did you get the FE ?

Go to Settings -> Display and see if you’re set to Vivid or Natural perhaps you’re used to the vivid mode if that’s what you had on the S9?
