Resident Evil 4 remake and Age of Empires 2 HD are both verified and run so bad as to be unplayable.

Far cry 3 asked me for the password to my ubi account everytime and ended up unistalling, also very unhappy with marvels avengers since controller buttons just don’t show up and you have to end up guessing what each button does

The official Steam Deck Dock. It’s wildly inconsistent, and I always have to fiddle around with it to make the input lag somewhat palatable while gaming, although it is still omnipresent. I wish valve would improve upon it, but it still just feels like an afterthought if you’re just trying to consoleize your PC gaming experience on a 4K OLED.

Apico. When I’d try playing it on my computer and then switching back the Steam cloud save erased everything 😭

Counter Strike 2. I had high hopes for it considering it was developed by Valve. Game runs like total dogshit on the lowest settings.

Trying to get Baldurs Gate 3 working on deck from GOG through me for a loop most recently. After that it was probably Arkham Asylum. Personally I think I have a hard time playing some real time crpgs that really feel like they need a mouse. I really want to get into Pillars of Eternity because it looks like the kind of game to really enjoy on a deck but I hate using the touch pad for so much of its controls.

Bridge Constructor Portal. In addition to being nigh impossible on a regular PC it just isn’t playable on deck despite being “verified”.

hogwarts legacy on the deck looks actually terrible. i wouldnt have bought it for the deck if i did my research first lol. it is on me tho, i shouldve checked. i was still in the “my steam deck is the most magical thing ever created, it is perfect and can do everything” phase lmao

    Pokemon Scarlet

I never managed to get it to run more than 15 fps when I was trying to give it a chance. Any time something new is shown on screen (like a pokemon you haven’t seen since starting the game this time) frames drop so much.

I basically gave up after attempting to follow several settings suggestions comments in a thread about that game specifically.

Ininky played through the game until it basically gave you all the things you need to do on the map and I didn’t want to play a fully-open-ended game like that so I gave up.

The only bad experience I’ve had on Deck was with Starbound. The game ran great of course, but the controls were horrible. Tried some community configurations as well but they were also pretty clunky. Maybe it takes some getting used to, but as there’s only a 2-hour refund window, I didn’t push my luck.

Distance is reportedly Verified. Installed fine but I could not get the vehicle controls to work, either with the default layout or with a couple community layouts.
