I just bought a new SE 1st gen 44mm for $109. I know the watch is old but 109 for the 44mm seems like a good deal. I can obviously still return it if I like though. What’s everyone’s option here ? Keep or return ?
My main concern is no more watch OS updates but tbh the features I care about like sleep tracking, notifications, step, calorie, heartbeat tracking are here anyways.
I’ve been using an SE since launch and nothing has really compelled me to upgrade yet. It’s not like 2x the speed is that noticeable. Always on is probably the thing I’d want most.
The Apple Watch 3 and below had way too little memory to keep going. The SE has enough memory for the OS updates. It came out at the same time as the 6, so as long as the 4, 5, and 6 are updated so should the SE.
$109 is a great price.
That’s good to know, I would love if SE1 gets WatchOS 11 but even if its only on 10, it’s not bad, esp for the price
