Is there a way to set the actual app icon as the icon for the notifications on my notification panel? I HATE Samsung’s implementation of how notification icons look like because I have to check which app notification I’m looking at while on my previous phone (Realme UI), I just have to glance at that notification to check what and where it’s from. I thought One UI 6 would give me that freedom (fingers crossed) but I’m not that optimistic about it. I thought notistar in goodlock would be my answer but turns it’s just for managing notification history
Will be added in One Ui 6.0 Is allready confirmed and in the beta
So you’re telling that instead of this (the top image) I can get something that resembles this (bottom image)? For real? Do you have any screenshots of the same? I saw some older videos about One UI and I suppose my observations were made from that

Yes, it was implemented in the second or third beta if I recall correctly. Later they switched back to the original but gave you the option to turn it back on in the advanced notification settings. Soon we will get the stable release so you will have the option to show the app icons insead of what we have currently
Yooo…that’s gonna be awesome…I’m sick and tired of having to double check which app gave me the notification and where the notification is. Any news on notifications using relative time over absolute time? That’d be awesome as well. I prefer to check how long has it been since my notification arrived instead of checking the time it arrived at.
