Has anyone noticed their resting heart rate has increased since the latest update? Mine is consistently in the 60’s and it’s been in the 70’s-80’s lately. I swear it increased after the update. I’m very active so I’m just wondering if it’s the update or actually me.

It’s not the update, mine decreased a bit if anything. I’ve always had a high resting heart rate throughout my life and when I was 91 kg it was consistently into the 80s. I’ve been working out and losing weight lately and now that I’m considerably lighter and fitter it’s in the high 60s/low 70s. Bear in mind that if you are very active your data will be higher than normal even if your actual RHR is lower: during the hours immediately after a hard workout your temperature and your RHR will be higher than normal. If your graph has spikes on the days you have been working out harder you can just ignore them, your actual RHR is what’s shown on resting days

Also depending on how long ago you updated, the increase in heart rate could be attributed to illness such as a virus, stress and in some instances pregnancy.

Or ya know it could be broken, as lots of stuff got messed up with this latest update.

Omg. Duh! I’ve had a sinus infection and a cold in the last 6 weeks. Ugh. I’m an idiot. Of course!
